Pray hard

Pray hard folks.  We've been told that our dossier should be reviewed within the next 24 hours or so.
That means... IF we're approved (they could ask for more information or more documents) we should have a "verbal referral".
Once we have our verbal referral, it's just a matter of a couple of weeks before we're given a "written referral" (the minister's signature on our paperwork) and issued travel dates!

That means that within a month, if we're lucky... we could be meeting our daughter for the first time.

Pray hard, friends.  We're at the point of travel and we're still very under-funded.

  1. I will be praying for sure!
I just recently found your blog. I prayed for your sweet little girl many, many times before you found her. I am so completely excited she has a family comming for her. What a doll she is. I can't wait for you to meet her and see her at home with all of you.
    God Bless!

  2. Praying hard for all involved! I would offer to do a giveaway for your family but my current one isn't going anywhere. (*sigh* Must be Sept.) I'll do a post about your need as soon as our current giveaway ends. Meanwhile I'll share with everyone I know. Keep looking up!

  3. Praying hard. How much more do you need to be fully funded? What about just to get you through this first trip? Trying to think of what I could possibly do to help you...

    1. Katie... We still need around $7,000 to be funded for trip one and around $18,000 to be completely funded for the entire adoption (both trips and agency & country fees)

  4. We have a son who used to have autistic symptoms. We adopted a little girl with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome who was originally adopted from Russia. There is so much that you can do to help kids with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome develop their brains. I will be praying for your family as you journey toward your precious daughter, and as you help her learn, grow, and develop into the person God has planned for her to be.
